One observation about today's class: we have no male students in the course. I remember a professor in the LBJ school who taught a course on diversity saying that whenever he taught his course, the people who conceivably needed it the most (i.e., white males) almost never took it. I wonder if the same thing could be said for our class? Just a thought.
